Meet Salim Abdullah Hamood Al-wahebi, a young man from the Sultante of Oman. Tall ,bearded, strikingly handsome,with a twinkle of quiet humor in his eye.and an air of dignity and self-respect about him. This is one person who lives a refreshingly different life , one in which study,service and devotion are finely balanced. Always on his mind is the thought that one day soon God, willing, he will return to his beloved country to continue rendering his services to his Majesty the Sultan of Oman,may God always bless and protect him. Salim first came to India Aug-1995. Among other accomplishments,he graduated with a B.A from Ferguson College in 1999. He is currently doing his 2nd Year MA in Economics. In addition to his educational qualification , Salim has a special place in Pune .He serves as the Co-ordinator of all Omani Students' Affaris for the State of Maharashtra under the Embassy of Oman.In other words,from the time a student from Oman enters India, till the time he settlesdown, gets admission and is able to move around on his own, he or she is Salim's speical guest. No exceptions.
